Accessibility is a legal topic in Ontario. The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act sets website accessibility requirements for certain organisations, including designated public sector organisations and larger private or non-profit organisations, and generally points to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Whether the rules apply to you depends on your size and sector, so check with an adviser. As part of maintenance we run accessibility checks, fix common issues such as missing alternative text, low colour contrast and unlabelled form fields, and flag items that need a design decision.

What website maintenance includes
Website maintenance is the routine care that keeps a site working after launch. It covers software updates, backups, security checks, uptime monitoring, speed checks, broken link fixes and small content or design changes. Without it, a site slowly collects outdated plugins, unpatched security holes and errors that nobody notices until a customer reports them.
We provide this care to Toronto businesses remotely from our base in Udaipur, India. We do not have a Toronto office. Most routine tasks do not need anyone on site, and we schedule the work so it is done during our day and ready for your morning.

What Toronto and Ontario businesses should consider
Email and marketing rules apply to your site forms. Canada's anti-spam legislation sets rules for sending commercial electronic messages, including consent and an easy unsubscribe. Newsletter sign-up forms, contact forms that feed a mailing list and automated follow-ups should record consent clearly. We keep forms, consent wording and email integrations working, and we alert you when a plugin update changes how they behave.
Seasonal peaks and uptime go together. Retail, events and service businesses in Toronto often see traffic spikes around holidays, sales and campaigns. A site that fails during a spike costs real money, so we check performance and backups before known busy periods, and we monitor uptime so a failure is noticed in minutes, not when a customer calls. We cannot promise that no downtime will ever occur, but we can reduce the chance and shorten the recovery time.

We configure what you decide. We do not give legal or tax advice.
What is included in our maintenance plans
Updates and compatibility
WordPress core, themes and plugins updated on a schedule, tested on a staging copy first where the site is complex.
Backups and recovery
Regular off-server backups with tested restores, so a failed update or hack can be rolled back.
Security monitoring
Malware scans, login protection, firewall rules and clean-up if something is found.
Uptime and performance checks
Monitoring for outages and slow pages, with fixes for images, caching and heavy scripts.
Content and design changes
A set number of hours for text edits, new pages, banners and small layout changes each month.
Monthly report
A short report listing what we updated, what we fixed, what we found and what we recommend next.

Tools and platforms we use
Practical information before you start
Working with the time difference
Toronto is 9.5 to 10.5 hours behind India depending on daylight saving, so overlap is short. Toronto's early morning matches our evening. We hold calls at the start of your day, and do routine work during our day so it is complete when you arrive.
Emergencies
Uptime monitoring alerts us when a site goes down. We respond as quickly as we can within the response times in your plan. If you need after-hours cover, tell us before you sign so we can agree what is realistic.
Cost
Plans are priced by site size, platform, number of change hours and response time. We send a quote after reviewing your site, since a brochure site and a busy store need different levels of care.
| Task | How often | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Software updates | Weekly or fortnightly | Closes known security holes and keeps plugins compatible |
| Backups | Daily for busy sites, weekly otherwise | Lets us restore quickly after a failure |
| Security scan | Daily | Finds malware and suspicious changes early |
| Uptime monitoring | Every few minutes | Alerts us when the site is down |
| Speed and accessibility check | Monthly | Keeps pages fast and usable |

Website Maintenance & Support in Toronto: common questions
Straight answers to what businesses ask before they hire an agency.
Do you have an office in Toronto?
No. IPrix Media is based in Udaipur, India. Website maintenance is done remotely, and we arrange calls at the start of your day.
Which platforms do you maintain?
We maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites most often, and also look after Shopify stores and custom builds. We review a site before agreeing to maintain it.
Do you need access to my hosting?
We need admin access to the website and, ideally, to hosting so we can manage backups and restores. Accounts stay in your name and you can remove our access at any time.
What happens if my site is hacked?
We restore a clean backup if one is available, remove malware, close the way in and change credentials. Serious clean-up beyond the plan may be quoted separately.
Can you help with accessibility requirements?
We can audit common accessibility issues, fix the ones that are code-level and recommend design changes for the rest. We cannot certify legal compliance, so confirm requirements with an adviser.
Can I cancel the plan?
Yes. We agree the notice period in writing before we start, and we hand over documentation and access if you leave.
